About

I’ll admit that I’m not sure this is the best place to present these stories, or if presenting them to the public at all is the right thing to do.

I have been collecting these tales for a very, very long time. I have poured over my notes and memories with many friends and colleagues that I trust. Most have agreed that some or all of these stories should be shared (albeit with the occasional caveat here and there). I have struggled with this for many years now – and despite some personal and interpersonal dissonance, I’ve decided to share what I’ve learned and experienced here.

I do not do so lightly. Some people I care about very much feel that this might be a misstep, a potential hazard that could put some, or many, at unnecessary risk.

But I think it could also serve as a warning. An opportunity to set things right. Also, there are fantastic things to be discovered here, things that could be beneficial for civilization in the very near term.

In order to present these stories in the best possible way, I’ve collaborated with a very small number of authors and friends. I want to make sure that the tales introduced on this website are as engaging as possible, yet vague enough so not a single real-life person is easily tracked down.

Some stories will be told as first-person accounts by me and some will be retold by authors I’ve worked closely with. To protect anonymity, authors’ names will be replaced by a simple acronym of their choosing.

And so it goes. Thank you, reader, for taking the time to read the stories herein.
